Nga Tawa Diocesan School is an Anglican Girls Boarding School with a large and successful Equestrian Academy set in rural Rangitikei. We seek a suitably experienced and skilled coach to join our Equestrian Academy team of staff. Specific responsibilities are working with new and competent Nga Tawa riders (including International Students) and an ability to manage horses independently. The successful applicant will have sound knowledge in all matters equestrian, an understanding of teenage minds and the ability to work collaboratively in a coaching team. Areas of responsibility include coaching the weekend riding school, coaching visiting primary school riders, plan and implement the Academy mentoring program. The hours of work will be during term time only: Monday 1:30-6pm Tuesday 9am-6pm Wednesday 2:30-6pm Saturday 1-5pm Sunday 12-6pm If a Class 4 Heavy Traffic license is held or obtained, weekend hours could be longer by negotiation.
